Mission Statement

Abernathy Lighting Design, Inc. is a full service lighting design firm that collaborates with architects, interior designers, engineers, exhibit designers, directors and producers to visualize and create the lighted environment. This firm, founded in 2001, focuses on lighting designs for both interior and exterior architecture and theatrical events.

Our design process begins at the lighting design concept and continues through the final implementation of the design. Abernathy Lighting Design services include layout and equipment specification, custom fixture design, lighting control concepts, energy analyses and equipment focusing.

The design is supported with computer aided drafting and analysis, mock-ups, presentation media and other visual tools to facilitate the communication of lighting concepts.

Abernathy Lighting Design, Inc. is a member of the U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC) as well as TEA, the Themed Entertainment Association and is certified for the State of Rhode Island Minority Business Enterprise Program, the MBE/DBE - Minority Business Certification Number is MBCN 1077.
